Patrol Craft
BVT is a pioneer in the design of cost effective patrol craft ranging from 10 - 34 metres. All of our designs exhibit the following characteristics:

- Designed for reliability, structural integrity and ease of maintenance
- Able to operate with small crews and modest shore facilities
- Propulsion configuration to the customer's choice providing high speed as well as good loitering capabilities coupled with a high degree of manoeuvrability, long range and endurance

BVT's patrol craft are in service with many navies and government organisations, including the high speed FRP Hawk Class for the Royal Jordanian Navy, Sentinel in service with the UK Customs & Excise and Enforcer Interceptors with the Royal Oman Police.
49 BVT designed Island Class patrol craft built under licence in the USA are also in service with the US Coastguard. The US Navy also adopted the company's longer 52 metre design for the Cyclone Class patrol craft.
BVT Patrol Craft are the ideal choice of coastguard, customs, naval and marine police forces for the control of illegal and drug importation and to counter piracy, smuggling and terrorism.
Rigid Inflatable Boats
BVT Surface Fleet is the design authority on Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) that extend from 6m - 12m, with both the outboard engined Arctics and inboard diesel Pacifics based on sea-kind deep V hulls for the most demanding military, commercial and rescue roles producing top speeds in excess of 50 knots. The heavy-duty hulls are built from polyester fibreglass or from composites incorporating carbon fibre and kevlar. Reliability in operation and ease of maintenance and repair are key attributes of all BVT RIBS. BVT also manufactures air droppable ribs for special forces operations worldwide.
Specialist training and support packages are also provided. A range of BVT RIB models are already in service with government authorities worldwide including the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and the Far East.
